Tolerancia a la frustración poscompetitiva en deportistas federados de la disciplina de atletismo de fondo y medio fondo, Cusco 2022

Abstract

La presente indagación tuvo la intención de medir el grado de tolerancia a la frustración poscompetencia en deportistas federados. Para desarrollar ello, se optó por un esquema metodológico de naturaleza cuantitativa, descriptiva y no experimental, asimismo, el marco muestral fue de 120 deportistas de la Federación Peruana de Atletismo, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario, el cual midió la tolerancia a la frustración en los atletas. Los hallazgos evidencian que, en su mayoría, los atletas varones presentaron mayores niveles de tolerancia que las mujeres en los niveles alto (13.3%) y regular (50.0%); en cuanto a los niveles de resistencia a la frustración, los deportistas mostraron tener un nivel alto (50.8%) y regular (48.3%); además, en lo referente a la mediación a la frustración demuestran contar con un nivel regular (75%); en relación a los niveles de crecimiento ante la adversidad evidencian tener un nivel alto (50.8%) y regular (45.0%). Finalmente, se concluyó que la mayor parte de deportistas federados muestran un regular grado de tolerancia (76.7%) poscompetencia en general, es decir, el gran número de atletas que fueron parte de la muestra, cuentan con las capacidades necesarias para hacer frente a las adversidades y perseverar hasta conseguir sus metas.

The present investigation had the intention of measuring the degree of tolerance to postcompetition

frustration in federated athletes. In order to develop it, a quantitative, descriptive and non-experimental methodological scheme was chosen, likewise, the sample frame was 120 athletes of the Peruvian Athletics Federation, to whom a questionnaire was applied, which measured the athletes' tolerance to frustration. The findings show that, for the most part, male athletes presented higher levels of tolerance than female athletes in the high (13.3%) and regular (50.0%) levels; as for the levels of resistance to frustration, athletes showed a high (50.8%) and regular (48.3%) level; in addition, with regard to the mediation of frustration, they showed a regular level (75%); in relation to the levels of growth in the face of adversity, they showed a high (50.8%) and regular (45.0%) level. Finally, it was concluded that the majority of federated athletes show a regular degree of tolerance (76.7%) post-competition in general, that is, the large number of athletes who were part of the sample, have the necessary skills to cope with adversity and persevere to achieve their goals.
