Conocimiento y práctica sobre prevención de anemia con complejo polimaltosado férrico en madres de lactantes menores de 12 meses. Hospital de Quillabamba, Cusco 2022

Abstract

Estudio titulado: “CONOCIMIENTO Y PRÁCTICA SOBRE PREVENCIÓN DE ANEMIA CON COMPLEJO POLIMALTOSADO FÉRRICO EN MADRES DE LACTANTES MENORES DE 12 MESES. HOSPITAL DE QUILLABAMBA, CUSCO 2022”, tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento y práctica sobre prevención de anemia con complejo Polimaltosado Férrico en madres de lactantes menores a 12 meses de edad que acuden al Consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Hospital de Quillabamba, Cusco 2022. El método fue de alcance descriptivo, diseño de investigación no experimental de tipo transversal; donde se trabajó con una muestra de 86 madres de niños menores a 12 meses y a quienes se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado. Los resultados mostraron 37,2% tienen de 26 a 30 años, el 45,3% tienen secundaria completa, 50,0% indicó que se dedica a otras actividades económicas, 45,3% indicó que tiene un ingreso mensual entre el rango de 1001 a 2000 soles y 31,4% de las madres indicó que su hijo tiene entre 6 a 7 meses; respecto al nivel de conocimiento se encontró que 59,3% tiene un nivel de conocimiento regular, 25,6% bueno y 15,1% un nivel malo; dentro de sus prácticas 81,4% tuvo una práctica regular, 16,3% buena y 2,3% mala.

Study entitled: "KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICE ON THE PREVENTION OF ANEMIA WITH POLYMALTOSA FERRIC COMPLEX IN MOTHERS OF INFANTS UNDER 12 MONTHS OF AGE. HOSPITAL DE QUILLABAMBA, CUSCO 2022", The objective of the study was to determine the level of knowledge and practice on the prevention of anaemia with the Polymaltose Ferric Complex in mothers of infants under 12 months attending the Growth and Development Clinic of the Hospital de Quillabamba, Cusco 2022. The method was descriptive in scope, non-experimental, cross-sectional research design; where we worked with a sample of 86 mothers of children under 12 months of age and to whom a structured questionnaire was applied. The results showed that 37.2% were between 26 and 30 years of age, 45.3% had completed secondary school, 50.0% indicated that they were engaged in other economic activities, 45.3% indicated that they had a monthly income between 1001 and 2000 soles and 31.4% of the mothers indicated that their child was between 6 and 7 months old; Regarding the level of knowledge it was found that 59.3% had a regular level of knowledge, 25.6% good and 15.1% bad; within their practices 81.4% had a regular practice, 16.3% good and 2.3% bad.
