El presente trabajo busca conocer la relación entre calidad de sueño y el síndrome de burnout en
agentes de seguridad de la empresa G4S Perú Sac, de la ciudad del Cusco, para dicho fin se
vale de un enfoque cuantitativo, siendo un estudio de alcance descriptivo-correlacional, de tipo no
experimental. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 150 agentes de seguridad, utilizándose
para la recolección de datos el test de calidad de sueño de Pittsburg y el inventario de síndrome de
burnout de Maslach. Los resultados muestran una correlación estadísticamente significativa entre la
calidad de sueño y el síndrome de burnout, además se encontró relación entre las dimensiones
agotamiento emocional y despersonalización con la variable calidad de sueño y mayor agrupación en
el diagnostico sin problemas de sueño para la calidad de sueño y no presencia de síndrome de burnout. The present work seeks to know the relationship between sleep quality and burnout syndrome in
security agents of the company G4S Perú Sac, in the city of Cusco, for this purpose it uses a
quantitative approach, being a study of descriptive - correlational, non-experimental type. The study
population consisted of 150 security agents, using the Pittsburgh sleep quality test and the Maslach
burnout syndrome inventory for data collection. The results show a statistically significant correlation
between sleep quality and burnout syndrome, in addition, a relationship was found between the
emotional exhaustion and depersonalization dimensions with the sleep quality variable and greater
grouping in the diagnosis without sleep problems for sleep quality. and no presence of burnout
syndrome.
