Correlación de la prueba molecular y serológica en el diagnóstico de Covid-19 en personal de salud, Hospital Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco, julio-2020

Abstract

Introducción: La enfermedad por COVID-19 actualmente es considerada como pandemia, siendo un problema de salud pública. Por lo que el desarrollo de diagnósticos en el punto de atención nos permite acelerar sustancialmente la toma de decisiones clínicas e implementar la planificación estratégica a nivel nacional de medidas preventivas. Objetivo: Determinar la correlación de la prueba molecular y serológica en el diagnóstico de COVID-19 en personal de salud, Hospital Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco, Julio-2020. Material y Método: Se estudiará a todo el personal de salud con diagnóstico de COVID-19 que trabaja en el Hospital Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco. El estudio es de tipo observacional de prevalencia, transversal y retrospectivo. Resultados: Para el diagnóstico de COVID19 por medio de prueba molecular se obtuvo R de Pearson de 1, valor de p=0.00, especificidad del 51% y sensibilidad 100%. El diagnóstico de COVID19 por medio de prueba serológica se obtuvo R de Pearson de 0.85, el valor de p=0.01, sensibilidad IGM del 19%, IGG del 20%, IGG/IGM del 46% y especificidad agrupada del 100%. El diagnóstico de COVID19 por medio de prueba molecular y serológica obtuvo R de Pearson de 0.28 y el un valor de p=0.06. Conclusiones: Existe una muy buena correlación entre la prueba molecular y el diagnóstico de COVID-19, existe una muy buena correlación entre la prueba serológica y el diagnóstico de COVID-19, existe escasa correlación de la prueba molecular y serológica en el diagnóstico de COVID-19.

Introduction: COVID-19 disease is currently considered a pandemic, being a public health problem. Therefore, the development of diagnoses at the point of care allows us to substantially accelerate clinical decision-making and implement national strategic planning of preventive measures. Objective: of this research will be to determine the correlation of the molecular and serological test in the diagnosis of COVID-19 in health personnel, Adolfo Guevara Velasco National Hospital, July-2020. Material and Method: All health personnel diagnosed with COVID-19 who work at the Adolfo Guevara Velasco National Hospital will be studied. The study is observational type of prevalence, cross-sectional and retrospective. Results: For the diagnosis of COVID19 through molecular testing, a Pearson's R of 1 was obtained, p=0.00, specificity of 51% and sensitivity 100%. The diagnosis of COVID19 by serological test obtained Pearson's R of 0.85, the value of p=0.01, IGM sensitivity of 19%, IGG of 20%, IGG/IGM of 46% and pooled specificity of 100%. The diagnosis of COVID19 through molecular and serological tests obtained Pearson's R of 0.28 and a value of p=0.06. Conclusions: There is a very good correlation between the molecular test and the diagnosis of COVID-19, there is a very good correlation between the serological test and the diagnosis of COVID-19, there is little correlation between the molecular and serological test in the diagnosis of COVID-19.
