The present research entitled: “Experiential tourism to diversify the tourism offer in the
Community of Picchumarca in the Limatambo district, Anta province, cusco-2020“, aims to
know the development of experiential tourism in the community of Picchumarca, thus being
able to promote, improve and increase tourist demand in the community as it has outstanding
cultural and natural attractions in the area.
The methodology used is of a correlational type because the relationship or degree of
association that exists between Experiential Tourism and the tourist offer is known, it also
presents a non-experimental design, because it does not manipulate the reality of the research.
Data collection was carried out using a survey with closed items. The population under study
consisted of 200 inhabitants, from which the sample size was calculated, which was made up
of 132 inhabitants of the Picchumarca community, who were taken into account for the
application of the data collection instrument. The research concludes that there is a significant
degree of relationship between experiential tourism and the diversification of the tourist offer,
since p = 0.771 and it is observed that in the community of Picchumarca there is less interest in
promoting experiential tourism, given that the settlers are usually not organized to provide a
tourist service. Likewise, they do not impart their culture with tourists in an adequate way
because they do not apply any activity that is related to their customs or traditions for the
expectation of the tourist, in the same way it is perceived that the inhabitants do not give the
environmental value that the place has as natural tourist attraction.
