Objetivo: Determinar el Nivel de Desarrollo Psicomotor en niños(as) preescolares
atendidos en el Consultorio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo Centro de Salud del Distrito de
San pablo.2019.
Material y Método: El presente estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo,
descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por 54 niños entre 2 a
3 años, que acudieron con sus respectivos cuidadores al consultorio de CRED y están
registradas en la ficha de atención en el centro de salud san pablo. Se utilizó como
instrumento de recolección de datos el Test de desarrollo psicomotor (TEPSI) compuesto
por 52 ítems que definen las características de las dimensiones de coordinación,
lenguaje y motricidad.
Resultados: La mayoría de los preescolares evaluados del centro de salud san pablo,
tienen un nivel de desarrollo psicomotor normal en un 77.8%, pero también existe una
cantidad de niños dentro del rubro de riesgo en un 20.4%, de retraso en un 1.9%. En la
dimensión de coordinación, un 77.8% se encuentra en valores normales. Un 20.4% se
encuentra en valores de riesgo que debe ser tomado en consideración y un 1.9% se
encuentra en valores de retraso. En la dimensión de lenguaje un 92.6% se encuentra en
valores normales. Un 7.4% se encuentra en valores de riesgo y un 0% se encuentra en
valores de retraso. En la dimensión de motricidad un 98.1% se encuentra en valores
normales. Un 1.9% se encuentra en valores de riesgo y un 0% se encuentra en valores
de retraso.
Conclusiones: La mayoría de los preescolares tienen un nivel normal en las
dimensiones de coordinación, lenguaje y motricidad, a medida que avanzan en edad, los
niños logran cumplir con todas las características de estas dimensiones; así también se
observa que existe una mínima cantidad importante de preescolares con riesgo en las
dimensiones de coordinación, lenguaje y motricidad, lo que significa que tendrían
problemas de adaptación en su vida familiar, y no existen preescolares en estado de
