Estilos de vida y su relación con el síndrome metabólico en docentes y personal administrativo de la Universidad Andina del Cusco. 2019

El presente trabajo intitulado “ESTILOS DE VIDA Y SU RELACIÓN CON EL
SÍNDROME METABÓLICO EN DOCENTES Y PERSONAL ADMINISTRATIVO
DE LA UNIVERSIDAD ANDINA DEL CUSCO. 2019”. Cuyo objetivo general fue
determinar los estilos de vida y su relación con el Síndrome metabólico en docentes
y personal administrativo de la Universidad Andina del Cusco 2019. Estudio de tipo
cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, transversal y retrosprospectivo. La población
y muestra estuvo conformada por 105 personas entre docentes y personal
administrativo que acudieron al despistaje del síndrome metabólico que se realizó
en el tópico de la Universidad Andina del Cusco.
Dentro de los resultados se encontró a los cuales arribo la presente investigación:
78.1% tiene entre 35 a 59 años, 67.6% es femenino, 34.3% es de San Sebastián,
41.0% es conviviente, 54.3% es docente y 45.7% personal administrativo. El
síndrome metabólico en docentes y personal administrativo de la Universidad
Andina del Cusco se halló que el 71.4% mantiene un riesgo al síndrome metabólico
y 28.6% tiene este síndrome. Con relación a los estilos de vida en docentes y
personal administrativo de la Universidad Andina del Cusco se encontró que el
54.3% tiene alimentación regularmente saludable, 83.8% realiza una regular
actividad física, 79.0% consume ocasionalmente sustancias nocivas, 89.5% se
recrea ocasionalmente, 84.8% tiene un regular autocuidado, 95.2% tiene un
Descanso/Sueño insuficiente y 58.1% tiene un manejo del estrés insuficiente. En
general se encontró que el 68.6% tiene un estilo de vida regular, 17.1% tienen un
buen estilo de vida y 14.3% tiene un mal estilo de vida. Al realizar la prueba
estadística chi cuadrado de Pearson se pudo establecer una relación
estadísticamente significativa (p=0.022<0.05) entre los Estilos de vida con el
Síndrome metabólico en docentes y personal administrativo de la Universidad
Andina del Cusco 2019. The present work entitled “STYLES OF LIFE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE
METABOLIC SYNDROME IN TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF OF
THE ANDEAN UNIVERSITY OF CUSCO. 2019” Whose general objective was to
determine the lifestyles and their relationship with the Metabolic Syndrome in
teachers and administrative staff of the Universidad Andina del Cusco 2019. Study
of quantitative, descriptive, correlational, transversal and retrospective type. The
population and sample was composed of 105 people between teachers and
administrative staff who attended the screening of the metabolic syndrome that was
conducted in the topic of the Universidad Andina del Cusco.
Within the investigation it was found of the teachers and administrative staff of the
Andean University of Cusco 2019 that: 78.1% is between 35 and 59 years old,
67.6% is female, 34.3% is from San Sebastián, 41.0% is living together, 54.3 is a
teacher and 45.7% administrative staff. The metabolic syndrome in teachers and
administrative staff of the Andean University of Cusco was found that 71.4%
maintain a risk to metabolic syndrome and 28.6% have this syndrome. In relation to
the lifestyles of teachers and administrative staff of the Andean University of Cusco,
it was found that 54.3% have a regular healthy diet, 83.8% perform regular physical
activity, 79.0% occasionally consume harmful substances, 89.5% occasionally
recreate, 84.8% have regular self-care, 95.2% have vinsuficiente rest / sleep and
58.1% have vinsuficiente stress management. In general it was found that 68.6%
have a regular lifestyle, 17.1% have a good lifestyle and 14.3% have a bad lifestyle.
When performing the Pearson chi-square statistical test, a statistically significant
relationship (p = 0.022 <0.05) could be established between lifestyles with the
metabolic syndrome in teachers and administrative staff of the Andean University of
Cusco 2019.
