Relación entre la caries de aparición temprana y los niveles de hemoglobina en niños de 18 a 48 meses que acuden al Centro de Salud de Santa Rosa 2018

El presente trabajo de investigación realizada en la ciudad del Cusco, en el
Centro de salud Santa Rosa.
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la caries de aparición temprana y los
niveles de hemoglobina en niños de 18 a 48 meses que acuden al Centro de
Salud de Santa Rosa 2018.
Metodología: El presente estudio pertenece al diseño de estudio no
experimental, del tipo descriptivo y transversal, con una muestra de 100 niños de
18 a 48 meses que acuden al Centro de Salud Santa Rosa durante los meses
de noviembre y diciembre del 2018. El tipo de muestreo fue no probabilístico por
conveniencia.
Resultados: Se evaluó el índice ceod en los niños encontrándose
predominantemente en general un índice muy alto, según edad los niños entre
18 y 27 meses tienen un índice muy bajo, los niños entre 28 a 37 meses tienen
un índice muy alto y los niños entre 38 a 48 meses tienen un índice muy alto. Se
determinó el nivel de hemoglobina en los niños encontrándose que la
hemoglobina en general esta normal, según el nivel el 28,0% tiene anemia leve, el 19,0% tiene anemia moderada y el 2,0% tiene anemia severa., con mayor
predominancia en el sexo masculino. Se estableció que existe relación
significativa entre las variables (p=0,027), con lo cual se acepta la hipótesis de
trabajo y se rechaza la hipótesis nula.
Conclusión: Existiendo relación estadísticamente significativa entre los niveles
de hemoglobina y el índice ceod para p=0,027.
