Análisis de la consistencia metodológica y disposición hacia la demanda social de la Región Cusco de las investigaciones de la Escuela Profesional de Psicología de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2017.

Abstract

El presente estudio surgió por la necesidad de valorar el desarrollo científico de la Escuela Profesional de Psicología de la Universidad Andina del Cusco, particularmente la consistencia metodológica de las investigaciones realizadas por la E.P. de Psicología, puesto que estas no han sido almacenadas en ningún repositorio de uso internacional y tampoco han sido usadas para programas aplicados a satisfacer necesidades de la región. Los objetivos de estudio fueron determinar los niveles de consistencia metodológica de las investigaciones de la E.P. de Psicología de la UAC y conocer su disposición hacia la demanda social de la región del Cusco en el periodo 2012 al 2017. Con este propósito, la investigación cuenta con un enfoque mixto de diseño de triangulación concurrente – DITRIAC. En la parte cuantitativa se trabajó con un muestreo estratificado de 209 tesis de un total de 260, con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal descriptivo-comparativo, evaluándose la consistencia metodológica de las investigaciones por periodos de tiempo y temas de investigación; en la parte cualitativa se realizó un estudio fenomenológico mediante entrevistas a los principales representantes de las instituciones de la región. Para el estudio se elaboraron dos instrumentos: para la parte cuantitativa una ficha de evaluación de consistencia metodológica; para la parte cualitativa una entrevista semi estructurada que evaluó la disposición de las investigaciones hacia la demanda social. Los resultados indicaron incremento en el tiempo de la consistencia metodológica de las investigaciones, siendo la más antiguas las menos consistentes, y una baja disposición de estas hacia la demanda social.

This study arose from the need to assess the scientific development of the Professional School of Psychology from Andina of Cusco University, particularly the methodological consistency of the research carried out by that professional school, because it’s researches have not been stored in any important repository for international use and have not been used in programs applied to satisfy region`s requirements. On one hand, the objectives of this study tried to determine the methodological consistency levels of the researches elaborated by that professional school, and on the other hand, want to know if those researches have disposition towards social demand of Cusco region, in the period 2012 to 2017. With this purpose, the research has a mixed approach with a concurrent triangulation design - DITRIAC. In the quantitative part, the research worked with a stratified sampling of 209 theses out of a total of 260, that part used a non-experimental - descriptive – comparative cross-sectional design, to evaluate the methodological consistency of the researches, according periods of time and research topics. In the qualitative part, a phenomenological study was carried out through interviews with the most representative agents of region Cusco’s institutions. For this study, two instruments were elaborated: In the quantitative part, a methodological consistency evaluation sheet; in the qualitative part, a semi-structured interview that evaluate the disposition of the researches towards social demand. Quantitative results indicated an increase over time of methodological consistency`s levels of the investigations, the oldest being the least consistent. Finally, qualitative results showed us a low disposition of researches toward the social demand.
