El estudio “Estado nutricional en niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud Tinta, Sicuani. Cusco, 2015”, se realizó con el objetivo de determinar el estado nutricional de los niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud Tinta, Sicuani. Cusco, 2015, tuvo un diseño descriptivo transversal, efectuado en una población de 66 niños, obtenido por muestreo probabilístico.
Como resultados del estudio se tienen características sociodemográficas correspondientes a niños de 1 año mayormente, de sexo femenino, con familias cuyo ingreso económico familiar es mayoritariamente de 501 a 750 soles, cuyas madres entre los 26 y 38 años, cuentan con estudios secundarios y provienen de familias de tres integrantes.
Mayoritariamente consumen tres comidas principales, dos refrigerios, carnes rojas 2 veces por semana, pollo y pescado una vez por semana. Respecto al consumo de lácteos y derivados por parte de los niños es de 1 vez por semana y verduras 3 veces por semana.
Respecto a la antropometría peso/talla se ha podido determinar que los niños estudiados en el Centro de Salud de Tinta se encuentran en los parámetros de
normalidad en 84%, en la antropometría talla/edad el 80% se hallan en parámetros de normalidad, y en la antropometría peso/edad el 84% se hallan en normalidad. Mostly they consume three main meals, two snacks, red meats twice a week, chicken and fish once a week. Regarding the consumption of dairy products by
children is 1 time per week and vegetables 3 times per week.
Regarding weight / height anthropometry, it has been possible to determine that
the children studied in the Tinta Health Center are in the parameters of normality in 84%, in height / age anthropometry 80% are in parameters of normality, and in the anthropometry weight / age 84% are in normality
