Percepción del ambiente educacional en estudiantes de la asignatura de endodoncia de la Escuela Profesional de Estomatología de la Universidad Andina del Cusco-2016.

Abstract

La importancia de la presente investigación se justifica en la medida que la formación del cirujano dentista en la enseñanza universitaria tradicionalmente se ha centrado en la trasmisión de conocimientos, dejando de lado la percepción o visión en cuanto a valorar sus intereses personales , el desempeño docente, la calidad de la enseñanza, las relaciones con sus compañeros, los servicios de bienestar, cuyos datos objetivos permitirán apoyar su formación académica con solvencia científica y con una dimensión humanística para genera un servicio de calidad a los clientes. El estudio fue realizado con alumnos de la asignatura de endodoncia próximos a realizar sus prácticas clínicas, las variables de investigación fueron, la percepción del ambiente educacional total y en sus dimensiones: del aprendizaje, de los docentes, académica, del ambiente durante las clases y la percepción social en el aula. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo explicativo. De acuerdo a los resultados la percepción del ambiente educacional general, no difiere de acuerdo al sexo y el nivel es “más positivo que negativo”, en la dimensión del aprendizaje califica “bien positiva la enseñanza”, la calidad docente lo ubican en el nivel “encaminado a la dirección correcta”, en la percepción académica alcanza el nivel “seguro del futuro académico”, en percepción atmosfera o ambiente en clase el nivel es “de actitud más bien positiva” y en la percepción social sobre infraestructura, apoyo de bienestar se tiene un nivel “no tan mal el ambiente social”, seguido de un nivel “no es un buen lugar” percibido especialmente por alumnas, la misma que debe ser tomado en cuenta.
