Título : IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA HONEYNET EN LA 
INFRAESTRUCTURA DE LA RED DE DATOS DE LA E.P.S. SEDACUSCO 
PARA INCREMENTAR LA SEGURIDAD DE SUS SERVIDORES.

RESUMEN 
 
 El siguiente trabajo muestra el análisis de la red de datos de la EPS 
SEDACUSCO con el fin de implementar una Honeynet, para monitorear la 
actividad sospechosa de atacantes que pasen por las Honeypots, capturando 
sus actividades y dándoles la posibilidad de analizar los recursos que utilizan y 
sus movimientos. 
El Documento está dividido en 8 capítulos los cuales comprenden, el análisis 
de la red de datos, diseño del ambiente simulado, pruebas, y resultados 
obtenidos al recolectar los ataques realizados en la fase de pruebas. 
El capítulo 1 titula aspectos generales, explicando la formulación del problema, 
objetivos en este estudio y la metodología de la tesis. 
El capítulo 2 titula Marco teórico, en el cual se muestra estudios similares 
realizados por otras universidades y las bases teóricas científicas las cuales 
son los conceptos fundamentales que hay que tener en cuenta para el estudio 
del tema. 
El capítulo 3 titula Análisis de la red de datos de la EPS. SEDACUSCO, en el 
cual mostramos la infraestructura de su red de datos, señalando el hardware y 
software utilizado y explicamos su topología lógica y física existente. 
El capítulo 4 titula Diseño de la Honeynet, en este capítulo damos a conocer la 
selección del Honeypot utilizado y su posición dentro de la red de datos. 
En el capítulo 5, titulado, Implementación de la Honeynet en el entorno virtual 
de red, se realiza la creación del entorno simulado de la red de datos, las 
configuraciones realizadas y la implementación del Honeynet. 
El capítulo 6 titula Pruebas, en este capítulo se realizan las diferentes pruebas 
para probar la funcionalidad del Honeypot y se mostrara los resultados de las 
métricas CVSS en esta. 
En el capítulo 7 se muestra los costos realizados durante el estudio. Y 
finalmente en el capítulo 8 mostramos las conclusiones y recomendaciones

ABSTRACT 
 
The following work shows the analysis of data network of EPS. SEDACUSCO, 
in order to implement a Honeynet, to detect attackers’ suspicious activity 
passing through the honeypots, capturing their activities and enabling analyze 
the resources they use and their movements. 
The next document is divided into eight chapters, which comprise, the analysis 
of the data network, simulated environment design, testing, and results obtained 
by collecting the attacks in the testing phase. 
Chapter 1 entitled General aspects, explaining the problem formulation, the 
study objectives and methodology of the thesis. 
Chapter 2 entitled Theoretical Framework, this chapter shows similar studies by 
other universities and scientific theoretical bases which are the fundamental 
concepts to consider in the study of the subject. 
Chapter 3 entitled Analysis of the data network of EPS. SEDACUSCO, which 
show the network infrastructure data, noting the hardware and software used, 
and explaining their logical and physical topology are used. 
Chapter 4 titled Design Honeynet, in this chapter we present the selection of 
Honeypot used and its position within the data network. 
In Chapter 5, entitled Implementation of the Honeynet in the virtual network 
environment, we explain the creation of simulated data network environment 
that was made, the settings made and the implementation of the Honeynet. 
Chapter 6 entitled Testing, in this chapter the various tests are performed to test 
the functionality of the Honeypot and the results of this with CVSS metrics that 
are displayed. 
Costs incurred during the study is shown in Chapter 7. Finally in Chapter 8 we 
show the conclusions and recommendations obtained in the study.
