RESUMEN 
El sector Huamanpata, distrito de Mollepata, inicio con el proceso de producción 
de palta Hass en el año 2016, año en el que muchos productores del sector rotaron sus 
cultivos de kiwicha y chía hacia la producción de palta Hass de exportación, por lo que, 
debido a su escasa experiencia, se infirió que los productores del sector dificultan en 
utilizar los factores de producción y técnicas de manejo de cultivo, obteniendo 
rendimientos no tan significativos, e incurriendo en pérdidas que implican el incremento 
de los costos de producción, lo que incidió en el beneficio de los productores. En este 
entender se buscó determinar la incidencia de la eficiencia económica en el beneficio de 
los productores de palta Hass en el sector de Huamanpata distrito de Mollepata provincia 
de Anta, región Cusco-año 2018. El estudio supuso un tipo de investigación aplicada, con 
un enfoque cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, un alcance 
descriptivo - correlacional y un método hipotético - deductivo. El muestreo utilizado fue 
de tipo censal, por lo que la muestra considerada en la investigación fue de 23 
productores, la totalidad de la población, con cultivos en el tercer año de producción. 
Entre los resultados más resaltantes se obtuvo que, puesto que la eficiencia económica 
involucra el manejo de los recursos (eficiencia técnica) y la elección de precios (eficiencia 
distributiva), y estas presentan coeficientes de regresión significativos y positivos de 
0.859 y 0.144 respecto al beneficio; se concluye en términos generales que la eficiencia 
económica incide significativamente en el beneficio de los productores de palta Hass.

ABSTRACT 
The Huamanpata sector, district of Mollepata, started the process of Hass avocado 
production in 2016, year in which many producers of the sector rotated their kiwicha and 
chia crops towards the production of Hass avocado for export. Due to their scarce 
experience, it was inferred that producers of the sector make it difficult to use production 
factors and crop management techniques, obtaining not so significant yields and incurring 
in losses that imply an increase in production costs, which affected the benefit of the 
producers. In this understanding, we sought to determine the incidence of economic 
efficiency on the benefit of Hass avocado growers in the sector of Huamanpata district of 
Mollepata, province of Anta, Cusco region, in 2018. The study implied a type of applied 
research, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental cross-sectional design, a 
descriptive - correlational scope and a hypothetical - deductive method. The sampling 
used was census-type, so the sample considered in the research was of 23 producers, the 
entire population, with crops in the third year of production. Among the most outstanding 
results, it was obtained that, since economic efficiency involves the management of 
resources (technical efficiency) and the choice of prices (distributive efficiency), and 
these present significant and positive regression coefficients of 0.859 and 0.144 with 
respect to profit; it is generally concluded that economic efficiency significantly affects 
the profit of Hass avocado growers.
