RESUMEN  
La ciudad del Cusco es considerada la capital del Imperio Tahuantinsuyo con un 
gran legado histórico y arquitectónico, también considerada como el ombligo del 
mundo por ser el centro político y territorial del Imperio Incaico, reflejan las 
riquezas culturales, naturales, materiales e inmateriales que permiten proyectar 
oportunidades de desarrollo únicas para nuestra ciudad, en la presente se toma  
como punto  base a la Cuesta de Santa Ana de la ciudad del Cusco por su 
relevancia histórica y cultural, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo 
principal analizar la incidencia de los hostels que hay en este sector para poder 
determinar cómo este influye en el turismo. Es por ello que se indagara las 
características de los servicios de hostelería conocidos comúnmente como 
Hostels. 
Con el objetivo principal de describir cómo y cuál es el servicio que prestan los 
hostel en la Cuesta de Santa Ana y analizar su incidencia en la oferta y demanda 
turística, conociendo estos puntos se lograra el aprovechamiento turístico 
alcanzando mayores niveles de calidad y competitividad, generando 
capacidades locales para el desarrollo turístico sostenible. 
El tipo de investigación utilizada es mixta ya que se necesita la revisión y consulta 
de documentos y fuentes bibliográficas, así como también la investigación de 
campo basándose en la utilización de modelos estadísticos para la generación 
de algunos datos muéstrales, el nivel de investigación es correlacional porque 
tiene como objetivo medir el grado de relación significativa entre dos o más 
variables, donde nos permite conocer cómo se puede comportar. 
Finalmente, este presente trabajo de investigación consiste en analizar la 
incidencia de los hostels, así como sus características, servicios importancia y 
perfil del cliente que repercuten en el turismo.

ABSTRACT 
The Cusco city is considered the capital of the Tahuantinsuyo empire with a great 
historical and architectural legacy, considered as well as the navel of the world 
for being the political and territorial center of the Inca empire, which reflects the 
cultural, natural, material and immaterial wealth that allow to project a unique 
development opportunity for our city. The Cuesta de Santa Ana of Cusco city is 
taken as a base point of this research for its historical and cultural relevance, this 
research has as main objective to analyze the incidence of the hostels that are in 
this sector to determinate how this influences the tourism, that is why the 
characteristics of hospitality services commonly known as Hostels were 
investigated. 
With the main objective of describing how and what is the service provided by the 
Hostels on the Santa Ana’s Hill and analyze their impact on tourism supply and 
demand, knowing these points will achieve tourist use reaching higer levels of 
quality and competitiveness, generating local capacities for sustainable tourism 
development. 
The type of research used is mixed since it is necessary to rewiew and consult 
documents and blibliographic sources, as well as field research based on the use 
of statiscal models for the generation of some data, the leve lof research is 
correlational because it aims to measure the degree of significant relationship 
between two or more variables, where it allows us to know how to behave. 
Finally, this present research work consists in analyzing the incidence of the 
Hostels, as well as their characteristics, important services and customer profile
