RESUMEN 
La investigación nombrada “Impacto de la actividad productiva de ovinos en el desarrollo 
socioeconómico de la Comunidad Campesina Punacancha, Distrito de San Sebastián, Provincia 
del Cusco, 2015-2019” fue realizada con el propósito de entender de mejor manera la influencia 
de variables tales como la producción, la comercialización, el nivel de asociatividad y 
asistencia técnica en el desarrollo socioeconómico de la zona, considerando que la actividad 
productiva de ovinos es la principal fuentes de ingresos para los comuneros de Punacancha. 
El objetivo principal de la investigación es “Determinar cómo la actividad productiva de ovinos 
es determinante del desarrollo socioeconómico de la comunidad campesina de Punacancha, 
distrito de San Sebastián, provincia Cusco, región Cusco, 2015 al 2019.” Para alcanzarlo, se 
realizó una investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional, de manera que se hará una 
descripción de la incidencia y el grado de relación existente entre las dimensiones de la variable 
actividad productiva tales como la producción, la comercialización, el nivel de asociatividad y 
asistencia técnica y el desarrollo socioeconómico de la zona y así probar las hipótesis 
establecidas. Cabe mencionar que la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño 
no experimental de tipo longitudinal al analizarse el problema sin manipularse las variables 
dependientes observando los fenómenos de los componentes y sus cambios a través del tiempo. 
Los resultados de las encuestas aplicadas a los comuneros de Punacancha, proveen evidencia 
que demuestra las hipótesis generales y específicas. 
Finalmente, se llega a la conclusión de que a partir de la muestra determinada para el estudio: 
La producción, las formas de comercialización, el nivel de asociatividad y de asistencia técnica 
tienen una relación directa, positiva y alta con el desarrollo socioeconómico, es decir, si se 
presenta un incremento en la actividad económica de la misma forma contribuye a una mejora 
en el desarrollo socioeconómico de la Comunidad Campesina de Punacancha.

ABSTRACT 
The research named "Impact of productive activity of sheep in the socioeconomic development 
of the Peasant Community of Punacancha, District of San Sebastian, Province of Cusco, 2015-
2019" was carried out with the purpose of understanding in a better way the influence of 
variables such as production, marketing, the level of associativity and technical assistance in 
the socioeconomic development of the area, considering that the productive activity of sheep 
is the main source of income for the community of Punacancha. 
The main objective of the research is "To evaluate how the productive activity of sheep is 
determinant of the socioeconomic development of the peasant community of Punacancha, San 
Sebastián district, Cusco province, Cusco region, 2015 to 2019." To achieve this, an 
investigation was conducted descriptive correlational type, so that a description of the 
incidence and the degree of relationship that exists between the variables such as production, 
marketing, the level of associativity and technical assistance in the socioeconomic development 
of the area and thus prove the hypotheses established. It should be mentioned that the research 
has a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design of longitudinal type when analyzing 
the problem without manipulating the dependent variables observing the phenomena of the 
components and their changes over time. 
The results of the surveys applied to the community members of Punacancha, provide evidence 
that demonstrates the general and specific hypotheses. 
The sample’s conclusion for this study: Production, marketing methods, the level of 
associativity and technical assistance have a direct, positive and high relationship with 
socioeconomic development, if there is an increase in economic activity in the same way, it 
contributes to an improvement in the socioeconomic development of the rural community of 
Punacancha.
