RESUMEN 
 
En los últimos años se ha visto un incremento en el crecimiento económico del país lo cual es 
necesario más no significa que sea eficiente para obtener un desarrollo económico local, que 
permita eliminar las brechas de condiciones de vida y pobreza entre los sectores urbanos y 
rurales. Un mayor acceso a capital físico, humano y proyectos productivos permitirá mejorar 
dicha situación más no eliminarlas, ya que existen fuertes diferencias económicas, sociales y 
restricciones políticas entre municipalidades. En el presente estudio se verificó  la calidad de las 
inversiones con respecto a los avances de los habitantes y constatación de los principales 
indicadores de desarrollo, por ello el presente trabajo tiene como finalidad delimitar la inversión 
pública y su respectiva incidencia en el desarrollo económico local del distrito de Limatambo 
2011 – 2017. El presente trabajo fue desarrollado con información presupuestal y datos 
estadísticos del distrito, utilizando como técnicas el análisis documental y la técnica de fichaje, 
se  propuso un modelo econométrico, analizando una base de datos. 
Donde se concluye que a mayor gasto en inversión pública se tiene un efecto significativo en el 
desarrollo económico local, tanto la inversión en capital físico, humano y en proyectos 
productivos periodo 2011-2017, tienen un efecto significativo en la educación, el acceso a 
servicios básicos y el ingreso per cápita del distrito de Limatambo durante el período de estudio.

ABSTRACT 
 
In recent years has seen an increase in economic growth of the country which is necessary but 
does not mean it is efficient to obtain local economic development, which allows to eliminate 
gaps in living conditions and poverty between urban and rural sectors. Greater access to physical 
and human capital and productive projects will improve this situation but not eliminate them, 
since there are strong economic, social and political restrictions between municipalities. In the 
present study, the quality of the investments was verified with respect to the advances of the 
inhabitants and verification of the main development indicators, for this reason the present work 
has as purpose to delimit the public investment and its respective incidence in the local economic 
development of the district of Limatambo 2011 - 2017. This work was developed with budgetary 
information and statistical data of the district, using as techniques the documentary analysis and 
the technique of signing, an econometric model was proposed, analyzing a database. 
Where it is concluded that the higher spending on public investment has a significant effect on 
local economic development, both the investment in physical and human capital and productive 
projects period 2011-2017, have a significant effect on education, access to services and the per 
capita income of the district of Limatambo during the study period.
