Resumen 
La investigación busca Determinar la relación que existe entre el clima social familiar y la 
inteligencia emocional en alumnos de La Escuela De Educación Superior Técnico Profesional 
Alférez PNP Mariano Santos Mateos Cusco 2018. Se aplicó la Escala del Clima Social Familiar 
(Fes) de R.H. Moos y el Inventario Emocional de BarOn ICE: NA a un total de 319 alumnos. La 
investigación es descriptiva correlacional, y tiene como propósito evaluar la relación que existe 
entre las dos variables: clima social e inteligencia emocional. Se demostró la relación al ser 
sometidos a la prueba de Chi con un 95% de confiabilidad, podemos afirmar que ambas variables 
se encuentran asociadas, al encontrarse un p-valor de .013, inferior a .05, establecido como error 
aceptable para la prueba de hipótesis el coeficiente de correlación, por lo que se puede afirmar que 
existe relación entre dichas variables.

Abstract 
The research seeks to determine the relationship between the family social climate and 
emotional intelligence in students of the School of Higher Education Technical Professional 
Alferez PNP Mariano Santos Mateos Cusco 2018. The Family Social Climate Scale (Fes) of R.H. 
Moos and the BarOn Emotional Inventory ICE: NA, adapted to Peru by Nelly Ugarriza Chavez to 
a total of 319 students. The investigation is correlational descriptive, and its purpose is to evaluate 
the relationship that exists between the two variables: social climate and emotional intelligence. 
The relationship was shown to be subjected to the Chi test with 95% reliability, we can say that 
both variables are associated, finding a p-value of .013, less than .05, established as acceptable 
error for the test of hypothesis the correlation coefficient.
