RESUMEN 
La presente investigación, tiene como objetivo general determinar la influencia 
de la actitud investigativa en el conocimiento de la investigación científica de los 
estudiantes del pre – grado de la Escuela Profesional de Turismo de la Universidad 
Andina del Cusco en el año 2017; con la finalidad de medir la relación entre la 
actitud investigativa y el nivel de conocimiento de investigación de estudiantes del 
pre-grado mediante la aplicación de una escala valida y confiable; el alcance es 
descriptivo correlacional y diseño no experimental. Para la recopilación de 
información, se consideró como instrumento dos cuestionarios para poder medir las 
variables en estudio, las mismas que fueron sometidas a la confiabilidad estadística 
del alfa de Cronbach donde la variable actitud investigativa fue de 0.967 y el 
conocimiento científico 0.992 el estudio tuvo en una muestra de 191 estudiantes. 
Se concluyó que los resultados obtenidos en la variable actitud investigativa reflejan 
un nivel alto de actitud investigativa con un valor de 3.51, indicando que los 
estudiantes tienen un alto nivel de interés por aprender investigando, así como 
autonomía e implicaciones sociales en la investigación y curiosidad; la variable 
conocimiento científico tuvo un promedio de 2.93 reflejando un nivel regular. Con 
respecto a nuestro objetivo principal los hallazgos revelaron que existe correlación 
significativa entre la actitud investigativa y el conocimiento científico ya que la 
significación es 0,00 y por tanto menor de 0,05. El coeficiente de correlación (rho = 
0,743) señala que se trata de una relación directa y alta. Estos resultados muestran 
que a un mayor grado de actitud investigativa en los estudiantes del pre-grado de 
la Escuela Profesional de Turismo de la Universidad Andina del Cusco se 
presentara un mayor grado de conocimientos científicos.

ABSTRACT 
The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of the 
investigative attitude in the knowledge of the scientific research of the 
undergraduate students of the Professional School of Tourism of the Universidad 
Andina del Cusco in the year 2017; with the purpose of measuring the correlation 
between the investigative attitude and level of research knowledge of undergraduate 
students through the application of a valid and reliable scale; the scope is descriptive 
correlational and non-experimental design. For the collection of information, two 
questionnaires were considered as instruments to be able to measure the variables 
under study, which were subjected to the statistical reliability of Cronbach's alpha 
where the investigative attitude variable was 0.967 and the scientific knowledge 
0.992 the study had in a sample of 191 students. It was concluded that the results 
obtained in the variable investigative attitude reflect a high level of investigative 
attitude with a value of 3.51, indicating that students have a high level of interest in 
learning as well as research autonomy and social implications in research and 
curiosity; the scientific knowledge variable had an average of 2.93 reflecting a 
regular level. With respect to our main objective, the findings revealed that there is 
a significant correlation between the investigative attitude and scientific knowledge 
since the significance is 0.00 and therefore less than 0.05. The correlation 
coefficient (rho = 0.743) indicates that it is a direct and high relation. These results 
show that a greater degree of investigative attitude in the undergraduate students 
of the Professional School of Tourism of the Universidad Andina del Cusco will 
present a greater degree of scientific knowledge.
