Resumen 
     En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados del análisis de percepción de la calidad de 
formación profesional y rendimiento académico en los alumnos de la Escuela Profesional de 
Obstetricia de la Universidad Andina del Cusco. Para llevar a cabo este estudio se realizó una 
encuesta semiestructurada, y con la información recabada se efectuó un análisis estadístico que 
resultó ser válida y confiable para la muestra estudiada. Lo cual permitió explicar la forma en 
que los estudiantes clasifican sus percepciones sobre las siguientes dimensiones: Satisfacción, 
Entorno, Contenido, Procesos y Resultados. Entre los principales resultados se encontró que: 
Percepción de la calidad de formación profesional. - El 44,9% percibe un nivel regular, 
seguido de un 36,4% un nivel bueno; el 17,0% perciben un nivel muy bueno y un 1,7% perciben 
un nivel malo. 
Rendimiento Académico. - El 50.0% tiene un nivel regular; el 26,7% nivel malo; un 14,2% 
un nivel bueno, un 1,1% nivel excelente y el 8,0% un nivel pésimo. 
Relación entre la variable percepción de la calidad de formación profesional y su 
rendimiento académico. - Existe un 32,2% que tiene una percepción buena de la calidad de 
formación profesional y su rendimiento académico es regular, el 26,1% presenta una 
percepción regular de la calidad de formación profesional y su rendimiento es malo; un 11,9% 
de estudiantes que tienen una satisfacción regular de calidad de formación profesional y su 
rendimiento académico es malo.

Summary 
In the present work we present the results of an analysis of the perception of the quality of 
professional training and academic performance in the students of the Professional School of 
Obstetrics of the Universidad Andina del Cusco. To carry out this study, a semi-structured 
survey was carried out, and with the information collected, a statistical analysis was carried out 
that proved to be valid and reliable for the sample studied. Which allowed to explain the way 
in which the students classify their perceptions on the following dimensions: Satisfaction, 
Environment, Content, Processes and Results. Among the main results it was found that: 
Perception of the quality of professional training. - 44.9% perceive a regular level, followed 
by 36.4% a good level; 17.0% perceive a very good level and 1.7% perceive a bad level. 
Academic Performance. - 50.0% have a regular level; 26.7% bad level; 14.2% a good level, 
1.1% excellent level and 8.0% a terrible level. 
Relationship between the variable perception of the quality of professional training and 
its academic performance. - There is 32.2% who have a good perception of the quality of 
professional training and their academic performance is regular, 26.1% presents a regular 
perception of the quality of professional training and its performance is bad; 11.9% of students 
who have a regular quality satisfaction of professional training and their academic performance
