Resumen 
El presente trabajo de investigación intitulado “SISTEMA CONTABLE Y LA 
GESTION ADMINISTRATIVA DE LA PRELATURA DE SICUANI-CANCHIS-
CUSCO, PERIODO 2017”, cuyo objetivo general es determinar cómo es el sistema 
contable y la gestión administrativa de la Prelatura de Sicuani-Canchis-Cusco, periodo 
2017, entidad perteneciente a la Iglesia Católica. Fue desarrollado tomando en 
consideración el proceso contable y el proceso administrativo, de acuerdo al cumplimiento 
de normas tributarias que regulan sobre las entidades religiosas y aspectos administrativos 
que son necesarios para mejorar dicha gestión. 
La contabilidad de las entidades religiosas especialmente de la iglesia católica ha 
sido un tema poco estudiado por la disciplina contable y se puede observar un cierto vacío 
en estudios realizados al respecto. 
Determinar cómo es el sistema contable y la gestión administrativa de la Prelatura 
de Sicuani, nos dará mayor luz respecto si la entidad viene administrando de manera 
óptima sus recursos económicos y además determinar si la gestión administrativa es 
eficiente.  
El presente estudio de investigación es de naturaleza básica, enfoque cuantitativo, 
con diseño no experimental y de alcance descriptivo; el tamaño de la población y muestra 
para la investigación son de 32 trabajadores. Las técnicas de recolección de datos, fueron la 
entrevista, la revisión documental y el cuestionario; los instrumentos utilizados fueron la 
guía de entrevista, la ficha de observación y el cuestionario. 
La principal conclusión que se determinó es que el sistema contable que utiliza la 
Prelatura de Sicuani es similar al de una empresa ya que poseen recursos que gestionar y 
una normativa que seguir, el sistema que utiliza no es del tanto adecuado y que 
significativamente afecta a la gestión administrativa y contable de la institución.

Abstract 
The present investigation work entitled "ACCOUNTING SYSTEM AND THE 
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE PRELATURE OF SICUANI-
CANCHIS-CUSCO, PERIOD 2017", whose general objective is to determine how is the 
accounting system and the administrative management of the Prelature of Sicuani-Canchis-
Cusco , period 2017, entity belonging to the Catholic Church. It was developed taking into 
consideration the accounting process and the administrative process, in accordance with 
the compliance with tax regulations that regulate religious entities and administrative 
aspects that are necessary to improve said management. 
The accounting of religious entities especially of the Catholic Church has been a 
subject little studied by the accounting discipline and a certain emptiness can be observed 
in studies carried out in this regard. 
Determine how is the accounting system and administrative management of the 
Prelature of Sicuani, will give us more light on whether the entity has been managing their 
economic resources optimally and also determine if the administrative management is 
efficient. 
The present research study is of a basic nature, a quantitative approach, with a non-
experimental design and a descriptive scope; The size of the population and sample for the 
research are 32 workers. The data collection techniques were the interview, the 
documentary review and the questionnaire; The instruments used were the interview guide, 
the observation form and the questionnaire. 
The main conclusion that was determined is that the accounting system used by the 
Sicuani Prelature is similar to that of a company because they have resources to manage 
and regulations to follow, the system that is used is not so appropriate and that significantly 
affects the administrative and accounting management of the institution.
