Resumen 
 
El presente trabajo de investigación desarrollado en las instalaciones de la empresa Cia Nicom 
SAC, Empresa dedicada al mantenimiento de tanques de almacenamiento de hidrocarburos, con el 
análisis inicial de los problemas en el proceso, se realizó la implementación de las herramientas del 
Lean Manufacturing. El desarrollo del presente trabajo está determinado por capítulos. 
Primer Capítulo, se desarrolló el planteamiento de los problemas, Identificación y justificación, 
realiza la formulación de los objetivos que proponemos para la mejora, delimitando el campo de 
estudio, en que se realiza la intervención. 
Segundo Capitulo, Se desarrolla las bases teóricas necesarias para la aplicación de las metodologías 
que se implementaran en el proceso de mantenimiento, Determinamos el marco Conceptual, Las 
hipótesis planteadas, y determinamos las variables de estudio. 
Tercer Capítulo, Diseño metodológico, donde determinamos el enfoque de la investigación, 
alcance, diseño, técnicas e instrumento de recolección, muestra, recolección de datos. 
Cuarto Capítulo, Diagnostico de la investigación, Datos de la empresa, donde se desarrolló la 
aplicación de las metodologías aplicables, Realizando un diagnóstico de la situación de la empresa 
antes de aplicar la propuesta de mejora. 
Quinto Capítulo, Implementación de las herramientas de Lean Manufacturing, de acuerdo a los 
problemas de la empresa se realizó una selección de tres herramientas, como son las 5 S. TPM, 
Justo a Tiempo, Realizando una toma de datos después de la aplicación de la metodología. 
Sexto Capítulo, Resultados de la investigación. Con la aplicación de las 5 S, TPM, Justo a tiempo, 
se obtuvo resultados de la investigación, con la evaluación realizada después de implementado las 
metodologías de estas herramientas. 
Séptimo Capitulo, Discusión e interpretación de resultados Se determino el estado de la empresa 
antes de la aplicación de las herramientas del Lean Manufacturing, en comparación con el actual, 
después de la implementación, con la obtención de resultados satisfactorios para la empresa. 
Culminando el trabajo con las conclusiones del trabajo y la recomendación.

Abstract 
 
The present research work developed in the facilities of the company Cia Nicom SAC, 
Company dedicated to the maintenance of hydrocarbon storage tanks, with the initial analysis 
of the problems in the process, the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools was carried 
out. The development of the work is determined by chapters. 
First Chapter, development of the approach of the problems, identification and justification, 
realization of the formulation of the objectives that we propose for the improvement, delimiting 
the field of study, in which the intervention is carried out. 
Second Chapter, the theoretical bases necessary for the application of the methodologies that 
are implemented in the maintenance process are developed, we determine the conceptual 
framework, the hypotheses proposed, and we determine the study variables. 
Third Chapter, Methodological design, where to determine the scope of the research, scope, 
design, techniques and collection instrument, sample, data collection. 
Fourth Chapter, Diagnosis of the investigation, Data of the company, where the application of 
the available methodologies, making a diagnosis of the situation of the company before 
applying the improvement proposal. 
Fifth Chapter, Implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools, according to the company's 
problems, a selection of three tools was made, such as 5 S. TPM, Just in Time, Performing a 
data collection after the application of the methodology. 
Sixth Chapter, Results of the investigation. With the application of the 5 S, TPM, just in time, 
results of the research were obtained, with the full evaluation after implementing the 
methodologies of these tools. 
Seventh Chapter, Discussion and interpretation of results the state of the company is determined 
before the application of the Lean Manufacturing tools, in comparison with the current one, 
after the implementation, with the obtaining of satisfactory results for the company. 
Culminating the work with the conclusions of the work and the recommendation.
