RESUMEN 
  
El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en la Dirección Regional Forestal y de  
Fauna Silvestre del Gobierno Regional de Madre de Dios, tuvo como objetivo describir 
la gestión por competencias del personal administrativo de la mencionada institución. El 
tipo de investigación es básica, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y 
alcance descriptivo; la población de estudio estuvo conformada por 41 colaboradores, 
de los cuales se recopilo información a través de un cuestionario elaborado 
específicamente para este trabajo, la muestra fue el total de la población. Con los 
resultados de la investigación se determinó que la gestión por competencias en los 
trabajadores de la Dirección Regional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre del Gobierno 
Regional de Madre de Dios - 2017, es buena, como se muestra en los resultados con un 
promedio de 58.54% según la escala de medición determinada, lo cual evidencia que la 
gestión por competencias en los trabajadores de la mencionada institución se desarrolla 
de manera adecuada.

ABSTRACT 
  
This research work was developed in the Regional Directorate of Forestry and Wildlife 
of the Regional Government of Madre de Dios, aimed to describe the management skills 
of the administrative staff of the aforementioned institution. The type of research is 
basic, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and descriptive scope; the 
study population consisted of 41 collaborators, from whom information was collected 
through a questionnaire prepared specifically for this work, the sample was the total 
population. With the results of the investigation it was determined that the management 
by competences of the Regional Forestry and Wildlife Directorate of the Regional 
Government of Madre de Dios - 2017 is good, as shown in the results with an average 
of 58.54% according to the determined scale of measurement, which evidences that the 
management by competences in the workers of the mentioned institution develops of 
suitable way.
