RESUMEN 
 
La presente investigación titulada: PRODUCCIÓN PER CÁPITA DE 
RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS DOMÉSTICOS SEGÚN FACTORES 
SOCIOECONÓMICOS DEL DISTRITO DEL CUSCO 2014-2016,tiene por 
objetivo evaluar los factores socioeconómicos como son el nivel de ingreso y el 
nivel de cultura ambiental que determinan el incremento de la producción per 
cápita de residuos sólidos domésticos (RSD) en el distrito de Cusco y contribuir 
a su mejorar la calidad de vida de la población. 
Esta investigación es de tipo descriptiva analítica pues se hizo un diagnóstico 
de años anteriores en base a datos cuantitativos y cualitativos aplicando 
encuestas a las familias del distrito de Cusco y accediendo a documentos de la 
Municipalidad Provincial del Cusco el cual recolectamos en el proceso de 
nuestro estudio y que aportaron a la realización de nuestra tesis. 
Los resultados obtenidos en nuestra investigación mostraron que la producción 
per cápita de Residuos Sólidos Domésticos está fuertemente influenciada por 
el nivel de ingreso y el nivel de cultura ambiental, debido a que a mayor 
capacidad adquisitiva mayor capacidad de consumo, y que a menor cultura 
ambiental más es la cantidad de basura generada. 
Para llegar a estos resultados se realizaron encuestas a familias ya que estos 
generan los residuos sólidos domésticos, el cual nos dieron a conocer estos 
datos aplicados a toda la zona urbana del distrito de Cusco. 
Finalmente se plantean conclusiones en base a nuestros objetivos de nuestra 
investigación, así como recomendaciones para analizar y estimar las 
alternativas de solución en base a los problemas encontrados, lo que 
demuestra que nuestras variables del nivel de ingreso y nivel de cultura 
ambiental influyen en la generación de residuos sólidos domésticos. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
ABSTRACT 
 
The present investigation entitled: PER CAPITA PRODUCTION OF DOMESTIC 
SOLID WASTE ACCORDING TO SOCIOECONOMIC FACTORS OF THE 
DISTRICT OF CUSCO 2014-2016, has the objective of evaluating the 
socioeconomic factors such as the level of income and the level of 
environmental pollution that determine the increase of the production per capita 
of solid domestic waste (RSD) in the district of Cusco and contribute to improve 
the quality of life of the population. 
This research is descriptive analytical type because a diagnosis of previous 
years was made based on quantitative and qualitative data by applying surveys 
to the families of the district of Cusco and accessing documents from the 
Provincial Municipality of Cusco which we collected in the process of our study 
and that contributed to the realization of our thesis. 
The results obtained in our research showed that the per capita production of 
Domestic Solid Residues is strongly influenced by the level of income and the 
level of environmental culture, because a higher purchasing power greater 
consumption capacity, and a lower environmental culture more It is the amount 
of garbage generated. In order to arrive at these results, surveys were carried 
out to families since these generate the domestic solid waste, which gave us to 
know this data applied to the whole urban area of the district of Cusco. 
Finally, conclusions are drawn up based on our research objectives, as well as 
recommendations to analyze and estimate solution alternatives based on the 
problems encountered, which shows that our variables of income level and level 
of environmental culture influence generation of solid household waste.
