RESUMEN 
  
La investigación: “Nivel de Conocimiento y Actitud sobre Estimulación 
Temprana en Madres de niños menores de 3 años. Consultorio de 
Crecimiento y Desarrollo – C.S. San Jerónimo, Cusco 2017”. Tiene como 
objetivo: Determinar el Nivel de Conocimiento y Actitud sobre Estimulación 
Temprana en Madres de niños menores de 3 años. Consultorio de Crecimiento 
y Desarrollo – C.S. San Jerónimo, el diseño fue de tipo descriptivo y 
prospectivo, con una muestra de 123 madres de niños. La técnica utilizada fue 
la Entrevista y observación, el instrumento fue una encuesta. 
 
RESULTADOS: Respecto a las características generales se concluye: El 56% 
de las madres participantes del estudio  tienen de 19 a 29 años, 7% de madres 
tienen de 14 a 18 años   y 2% madres con más de 40 años de edad, siendo 
estos dos grupos muy extremos, 72% son madres convivientes, 10% son 
madres solteras y 1% son madres divorciadas o viudas,55% de las madres 
tienen estudios de secundaria y sólo 1% son madres sin instrucción, respecto a 
la ocupación 53% de las madres son amas de casa, 7% son madres 
trabajadoras dependientes, 88% son de zona urbana y sólo 12%  son de zona 
rural, 39% de las madres tienen un solo hijo, 8% tienen cuatro o más hijos, 82% 
de las madres con solo un hijo menor de 3 años y 18% tienen dos hijos 
menores de 3 años, por último el ingreso familiar en más del 37% tienen un 
ingreso económico menor a 1000 soles.  
Respecto al nivel de conocimientos sobre estimulación temprana en madres de 
niños  menores de 3 años se concluye que 97% tienen conocimiento regular 
sobre estimulación temprana, y 3% tienen conocimiento  adecuado y 75% de 
las madres encuestadas tienen una actitud de indiferencia,24% tienen actitud 
de aceptación, y 1% actitud de rechazo.

The research: "LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE ON EARLY 
STIMULATION IN MOTHERS OF CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD. 
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANCY - C.S. SAN JERÓNIMO, 
CUSCO 2017”. It aims to: Determine the Level of Knowledge and Attitude about 
Early Stimulation in Mothers of children under 3 years. Office of Growth and 
Development - C.S. San Jerónimo, the design was descriptive and prospective, 
with a sample of 123 mothers of children. The technique used was observation 
and the instrument was a survey. 
 
RESULTS: Regarding the general characteristics, it is concluded that 56% of 
the mothers participating in the study are between 19 and 29 years of age, 7% 
of mothers are between 14 and 18 years old, and 2% are mothers over 40 
years of age. These two groups very extreme, 72% are living mothers, 10% are 
single mothers and 1% are divorced or widowed mothers, 55% of mothers have 
secondary education and only 1% are mothers without education, compared to 
the occupation 53% of mothers are housewives, 7% are dependent mothers, 
88% are from urban areas and only 12% are from rural areas, 39% of mothers 
have only one child, 8% have four or more children, 82% of mothers with only 
one child under 3 years old and 18% have two children under 3 years of age, 
and finally the family income in more than 37% have an income less than 1000 
soles. Regarding the level of knowledge about early stimulation in mothers of 
children under 3 years, it is concluded that 97% have regular knowledge about 
early stimulation, and 3% have adequate knowledge and 75% of the mothers 
surveyed have an attitude of indifference, 24% have attitude of acceptance, and 
1% attitude of rejection.
